PRODUCT OWNER

Full-Time position in Valencia, SPAIN / Remote

We seek a Product Owner to join our team in providing life-changing services for rural homes in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. We make software that allows distributors to offer those essential services affordably using mobile payments to impact 6.5 Million people, adding hundreds more every month.

As a Product Owner, you are responsible for providing the product development team with a product vision and prioritized list of features and meeting the overall goal of making  PaygOps software a more mature and stable product after years of feature growth and complexification by making it more professional and user friendly while also increasing its attractivity to larger players and new markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and clearly communicate feature descriptions and user stories

  • Communicating clearly the requirements and user expectations to the team

  • Develop and explicitly communicate the Product Goal, ensuring that features are coherent with the product goals

  • Collect and analyse data and feedback about client use of features

  • Make mockups of the UX of the features using design elements made by the graphic designer

  • Review existing features for usability and accuracy (formulas, etc.) and propose improvements

  • Anticipate the client’s needs and prepare features to stay ahead of them

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Start Date: TBC

  • Duration: Permanent/Long term.

  • Location: Remote, but hybrid can be arranged in our office in Valencia, Spain, if preferred.

  • All business-related expenses are paid.

  • Special travelling allowance to go meet your colleagues wherever they work from.

  • Fair compensation based on skills and experience
